Le coaching \u00e0 distance via le t\u00e9l\u00e9phone ou via Zoom me semblait incomplet.<\/h2>\n<p>Pendant deux ans, en suivant ma formation de coach professionnelle, j\u2019ai pratiqu\u00e9 intens\u00e9ment l\u2019\u00e9coute et le coaching \u00e0 distance. En cons\u00e9quence de cet entrainement, j\u2019en suis venue \u00e0 pr\u00e9f\u00e9rer ne pas avoir de distraction visuelle. Cette fa\u00e7on de faire permet d&#8217;accorder toute mon attention \u00e0 mon coach\u00e9 via l\u2019\u00e9coute. D\u00e9tecter un soupir, un changement de ton de voix ou de rythme, sont des indices tr\u00e8s pertinents par exemple. En plus, ceux-ci risquent d&#8217;\u00e9chapper \u00e0 notre attention quand on porte notre attention sur le non-verbal.<\/p>\n<h3>J\u2019ai donc acquis la conviction qu\u2019une \u00e9coute r\u00e9elle, profonde et enti\u00e8re est tr\u00e8s aidante et efficace.<\/h3>\n<p>Lors d&#8217;un r\u00e9cent rafra\u00eechissement \u00e0 la m\u00e9thode PNL (Programmation Neuro Linguistique), j\u2019ai vu l\u2019\u00e9tonnement dans les yeux des enseignantes quand je parlais de cette profondeur d\u2019\u00e9coute au t\u00e9l\u00e9phone. En effet, la PNL accorde beaucoup d&#8217;importance \u00e0 la calibration de l\u2019observation visuelle.<\/p>\n<p>Surgissent alors les questions :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Observer le non-verbal est-il une distraction ou est-il une n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 en coaching ?<\/li>\n<li>Qu&#8217;en est-il vraiment ?<\/li>\n<li>Que dit la science ?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Pour en avoir vraiment le c\u0153ur net, j\u2019ai fait des recherches pour v\u00e9rifier si une \u00e9tude comparative avait \u00e9t\u00e9 faite entre les effets du coaching face \u00e0 face et \u00e0 distance.<\/h3>\n<p>Hourra ! Bingo ! J&#8217;ai trouv\u00e9 un article publi\u00e9 par l\u2019association psychologique Am\u00e9ricaine (American Psychological Association) dans son \u00ab Consulting psychology journal \u00bb : <a href=\"http:\/\/psycnet.apa.org\/record\/2011-30211-003\">\u00ab\u00a0A comparison face-to-face and distance coaching practices\u00a0: coaches\u2019 perceptions of the role of the working alliance in problem resolution\u00a0\u00bb<\/a> .<\/p>\n<h3>Et voici les conclusions fort pertinentes de cette \u00e9tude comparative entre le coaching face \u00e0 face et \u00e0 distance. 102 coachs se sont qualifi\u00e9s pour contribuer \u00e0 cette \u00e9tude :<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Aucune diff\u00e9rence significative<\/strong> n&#8217;a \u00e9t\u00e9 constat\u00e9e dans l&#8217;alliance de travail ou la r\u00e9solution de probl\u00e8mes entre les conditions d&#8217;entra\u00eenement face \u00e0 face et \u00e0 distance.<\/li>\n<li>Ces <strong>r\u00e9sultats prouvent<\/strong> que le coaching \u00e0 distance peut \u00eatre aussi <strong>efficace<\/strong> qu&#8217;un coaching face \u00e0 face. Ce que je cherchais \u00e0 d\u00e9montrer !<\/li>\n<li>En termes de fiabilit\u00e9 de cette \u00e9tude : Pour que ces donn\u00e9es soient plus solides, il faudrait qu\u2019une \u00e9tude semblable porte sur un <strong>\u00e9chantillon de coachs plus significatif<\/strong>\u00a0et que les <strong>questions soient pos\u00e9es aussi aux coach\u00e9s<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>\u00c9tant donn\u00e9 la jeunesse de la profession du coaching, c\u2019est un bon d\u00e9but !<\/li>\n<li>D&#8217;un point de vue pratico-pratique, <strong>cela prend des conditions gagnantes<\/strong> que ce soit pour le coaching face \u00e0 face ou le coaching \u00e0 distance avec vid\u00e9o ou au t\u00e9l\u00e9phone. En effet, c&#8217;est moins praticable si le coach n\u2019est pas au m\u00eame endroit que celui o\u00f9 se trouve l\u2019\u00e9quipe. Si un membre de l\u2019\u00e9quipe se tient \u00e0 distance, c\u2019est possible avec la vid\u00e9o conf\u00e9rence ou une conf\u00e9rence t\u00e9l\u00e9phonique.<\/li>\n<li>Pour des personnes exer\u00e7ant la m\u00eame profession (gestionnaire, responsable de la qualit\u00e9, entrepreneur en d\u00e9marrage, \u2026), le fait de faire du <strong>coaching de groupe<\/strong> est tr\u00e8s efficace. Les participants peuvent choisir s\u2019ils sont client ou enqu\u00eateur\/expert. Cela se d\u00e9roule en 6 \u00e9tapes. Il est important que le coach prenne le temps de bien \u00e9tablir un climat de confiance. J\u2019observe que cela prend environ 3 rencontres pour que les membres du groupe s\u2019approprient le processus et se sentent en confiance que nous soyons au m\u00eame endroit ou \u00e0 distance. J\u2019ai des clients qui se d\u00e9placent pour me rencontrer, d\u2019autres qui sont confortables avec l\u2019utilisation d\u2019une vid\u00e9o sur le web (Skype ou Zoom) ou encore au t\u00e9l\u00e9phone. Parfois, c\u2019est une question de distance avec ou sans d\u00e9calage horaire.
